From Julius Alaban (Multiply and Facebook)
Think of 15 albums that had such a profound effect on you they changed your life or the way you looked at it. They sucked you in and took you over for days, weeks, months, years. These are the albums that you can use to identify time, places, people, emotions. These are the albums that no matter what they were thought of musically shaped your world. When you finish, tag 15 others, including me. Make sure you copy and paste this part so they know the drill.
Get the idea now? Good. Tag, you're it!
1. Cutterpillow/ Eraserheads

The first album that I heard from them and my favorite album of all time. Back when I was 8 years old, I remember waking up every morning hearing their songs coz my brother's so addicted to it... now I'm the one who's having a sickly dose of their music (thanks bro;p). They're one of the most influential local bands of my entire existence (who doesn't?)
2. Talk On Corners/ The Corrs
The first album I ever owned. I usually have albums that are gifts or just passed-on by my brothers. But this one was the first CASSETTE album that I bought for myself on my 11th birthday. I love the siblings' songwriting skills and on how they manage to blend their musical fortes, from the drums to the clarinet:)
I don't know but I think they're the ones who triggered my love for bands. Kinda weird but true...
3. Thanks to the Moon's Gravitational Pull/ Sandwich

My favorite album from Sandwich. I still love the dirty shiznit of this album, way back when Marc Abaya's still part of it. "Return to Center" is my favorite track... I listen to it every time I'm too stressed from school work or whenever I feel down.
4. Sa Wakas/ Sugarfree
The first CD album that I owned! I'm a huge fan of this band, especially Ebe Dancel's poetic songwriting skills. Their one of the reasons why I became a believer of rock.
5. Probably Not, But Most Definitely/ Imago
I remember listening to it for a whole sembreak the moment I bought this album. I love the tribal-mantra-alternative feel of it, especially the songs "Hiwaga" ang "Laya" were Aia de Leon really belts her voice out! And I also love the witty lyrics of "Otherwise"... nice one Miss Aia;p
6. Doll's Head/ The Late Isabel
So dark and beautiful... the words that I first thought of when I listened to this album. A magnificent work of gothness....
7. Fever to Tell/ Yeah Yeah Yeahs
KAREN O.!!! She's my idol... they made me believe that being kinky occassionally is ok XD I always listen to this every morning before going to school to get in the mood. It always left me humming the tunes, " cold light, hot night... be my heater, be my lover, and we could do it to each other... well like a sister and a brother...", or the lines, "boy you're just a stupid bitch and girl you're just a no good dick..." =D
8. Dummy/ Portishead
I so love the gloomy mood and trip-hop/etherial sounds of this album. Beth Gibbons' cold voice gives me shivers every time she sings "Wandering Stars", "Sour Times" and "It could Be Sweet".
9. Spit/ Kittie

All I can say to this album is... One spitting fucking girl power...>:)
10. Fungus Amongus/ Incubus
Don't get me wrong, I love all Incubus' album. But this one's the shit. The funky groove of this album makes me wanna grab Brandon Boyd in the ass and tell him that he's way sexier when he still have his dreads :D
11. Stereo Type A/ Cibo Matto

"Blue Train" was the first track that I heard from it. At first I thought that they're some rock 'n roll band from the US. Turns out to be a trip-hop band with 2 japanese girls, and I'm loving them...
A friend told me before that we sound like the "Blue Train" track (w/ my former band) and I sing like Miho Hatori, errr...
FYI: their vocalist Miho Hatori is now a member of Gorillaz disguised as Noodle ;)
12. Porcelain and the Tramps

She doesn't have an album... yet. But you can find her songs at Myspace. I love all her bitchy songs, from the ever sensual "I Feel Perfect" to the fucking slap-on-your-face song "My Leftovers" with the lines "how do my leftovers taste?"
Smack my ass bitch!!!
13. A Forest/ The Cure

The album that I still don't have and dying to have one...
14. Mellon Collie and he Infinite Sadness/ Samshing Pumpkins
One brilliant album... "Beautiful","1979" and "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight" are the songs that I heart in this album.
15. The Con/ Tegan and Sara

I looooove all the songs! (except "Relief Next to Me"). You can see my review about the album here. I've said it all in it.
So what's your 15?
